Just delete the tags. The branch revisions will be garbage collected later
when a good tool for the purpose is found..
Needs to find/write a CVS garbage collect script to get rid of orphan CVS
revisions.. the SF repository needs this badly.. feels like a thing that is
probably written a hundred times already.
Please don't manually attempt to clean up the uneeded CVS revisions. It is too
easy to get it wrong and accidently delete a revision that should not be
deleted. Especially if doing deletes based on branches/tag names..
