Squid using a socks firewall?

Hello there,
is it possible to use Squid getting data via a SOCKS firewall? I know that
SOCKS only does TCP, not UDP, so it'll have to be just the web-data
caching, not the dns-lookups.

If not, what proxy software supports socks?
