Hi all,

In /var/log/syslog (Linux 2.0 running squid 2) i am getting:

Feb 8 12:53:02 proxy syslogd: Cannot glue message parts together
Feb 8 12:54:07 proxy last message repeated 3 times
Feb 8 12:56:28 proxy syslogd: Printing partial message
Feb 8 13:03:20 proxy syslogd: Cannot glue message parts together
Feb 8 13:03:20 proxy syslogd: Cannot glue message parts together

The only thing i can think of is that our fourth disk died, so i restarted
squid using only three disk caches instead of its normal four. However i
have squint running that checks all four caches so maybe squint is dying
when it is reading that fourth disk?

Oh, and the squid process doesn't die.. even a web browser with the proxy
configured is working - it's just that i'll tail the access.log and it isn't
growing. It's like requests are being done but nothing getting logged to the
access.log.

Anyone come across this before?
