Cache Problem : TCP_MISS:DIRECT

Hello,

I use squid as an accelerator with redirect.
But for ALL request the results in the log is : TCP_MISS:DIRECT
why squid doesn't use the cache ?
Is there an any configuration directive to set to use the cache ?
