 That's not normal (RELEASE -1 FFFFFFFF) because the object
is cacheable. According to :

Testing for me shows a subsequent TCP_HIT in access.log when accessed
from a 'second' browser and a SWAPOUT in store.log, which means that
the object is or was put-in-the-cache.

Hmm, can only guess, did the modified squid version (CVS - pushing?)
have anything to do with it ?

At least for me, with native STABLE9, it works as expected.
