[squid-users] squid_ldap_group %u problem

From: <pwasenda@dont-contact.us>

squid 2.5 stable 5.

when i try

squid_ldap_group -d -b "dc=who,dc=are,dc=you" -f
"(&(objectclass=posixGroup)(cn=%g)(memberUid=%u))" -F uid="%s" -v 3 -D
"uid=cyrus,dc=what,dc=are,dc=you" -w mysecret 16.16.16.16

i get ERR, because the "%u" causes the searchkey to for group to expand to
"memberUid=uid=myname,dc=my,dc=domain". I know this is the problem because i
have tested the above searchkey with ldapsearch, and it doesn't work.

question is, how to make %u just become myusername somethn like
(memberUid=uid=myname) and exclude the "dc=my,dc=domain" ?

sincerely,

wase
