Hi,

I am using one of these PCs as a router: http://www.pcengines.ch/
running this embedded LINUX: http://linux.voyage.hk/,
which is similar to ubuntu.
As the ALIX-board has 256MB + 4GB Compact Flash, I run squid on that
machine, too.
I could even compile squid2.7 on it and compile/install some more custom SW
with big libraries (BOOST, ACE).

Very stable solution.
