Hi *Squiders*,
there are still some very nice features from "Cached" (which I used
before) which I miss in Squid.
I.e. "ignore_cookies on" and "use_saved_object on"
If you don't know Cached (Harvest 2.0 - the commercial version), here is
what is written in the config about these options:
# TAG: ignore_cookie
# Turn this on if you don't want cache to give a special treatment to
# cookified pages and requests. It will screw up the site that really
# need cookie to provide a stateful service. However, it will help to
# defeat those who inappropiately use cookie to beat caching.
#
# The default is off.
# TAG: use_saved_object
# Use the old object in case a validation fail because the remote site
# is down or become unreachable
# The default is on.
