SOCKS 4 version of Squid

Hi,
I'm trying to socksify squid version 1.0.20 with socks.4.2.2. Everything
works, the whole thing compiles with a few warnings.

But squid, once started, only handles one HTTP request. After that, the
logfiles get filled up with the following messages:

Has anyone successfully socksified Squid with version 4 ?
