Hi,
I am running 1.1.2 on Linux 2.0.11. It compiled straight out of the box.
Maybe the problem comes from a conflict between Linux's include files and
Squid expectations. At least, that's what the error message makes me feel.
Why not upgrade to a newer version of the kernel?
Just to try, you could untar a newer kernel (2.0.x) to build squid against
the new includes. I won't run, but if the compile error goes away, atleast
you'll know what to do next.
