reducing log files

I have set the log files to be in common log file format.
Under squid 1.0.17 I could reduce these files with the
  
   access-extract.pl -h

utilitiy using the -h option.

It now blows up on the access logs from squid 1.1.5. I guess I dont
know perl well enough to understand the problem.

The log file lines read:

old file:
 
157.87.10.3 - - [02/Feb/1997:23:56:57 -0500] "GET http:/www.mc.ti.com/"
           TCP_MISS 29

new file:
 
bob_page.mc.ti.com - - [06/Feb/1997:07:36:35 -0500]
          "GET http://www.mc.ti.com/" TCP_MISS:SIBLING_HIT 35709

What am I missing?
