Loose / Strict Source Routing

Hello

I need to embed new code into squid to provide for strict / loose source
routing to be used when a TCP connection is originated from the cache
server to another cache
or the document source itself.

I have been studying the code and I have a pretty good idea where the
additions need
to be made (in the comms.c file, just before the connect() call). I would
like to know
your opinions on this, especially with regards to the implications that
this might have.

All suggestions are welcome.
