I have a strange problem with my file system.
I am using squid 1.1.19 on a DEC Alpha running Digital UNIX 4.0.B
cachemgr tells me we are xfering about 1.8Gb per day with 25% hit rate.
I am using one cache area /usr/local/cache2 with the following params:
cache_swap 3000
cache_swap_low 95
cache_swap_high 96
When I do a df -k I get the following results:
# df -k
Filesystem 1024-blocks Used Available Capacity
Mounted on
/dev/rz0a 134760 69085 52199 57% /
/proc 0 0 0 100% /proc
/dev/rz0h 615786 358718 195489 65% /usr
/dev/rz1a 490336 246655 194647 56% /var

/usr/local/cache2
/dev/rz2a 513129 353951 107865 77%
/usr/local
#
Notice /usr/local/cache2 has used only 1Kb.
When I do a du on the cache2 directory I get the following results:
# du -s /usr/local/cache2
598062 /usr/local/cache2
#
Hmmmmmm.
Yes the files are actually there. Files are getting stored and
retrieved.
But can someone enlighten me as to what is really going on?
cheers.
