1.2beta14

I have been trying to compile 1.2beta14 with enable-async_io
and FreeBSD Current of Feb 2, 1998. There seems to be a
problem with the pthreads.h in /usr/lib. Any ideas on how
to fix it or did I miss something in the documentation?

It compiles fine without enable-async_io.
