As an ISP we _do_ block 80 to enforce proxy use. We're an association,
and once the pros and cons were explained at a general meeting, the
majority of the members (only one dissenter) voted for the block.

Nor are we isolated in this. Quite a few other ISP's on this side of the
pond do the same.

We _do_ however, redirect any attempted direct connections to a script
that provides a page that explains (in rough) how to set up proxies in
most common browsers.
