upgrading to

I'm brand new to UNIX, and if the answer to this post is too complicated or
inappropriate for his list, I do apologize.

I won a copy of BSDI at ISPcon. I set up a squid box with it, but it came
with 1.1beta16. I have downloaded 1.1.2, but haven't got a clue what to do
with it. If there's a easy answer, I'd sure appreciate the help.
