RE: Problems with Squid 1.1.11 after moving cache directories

I also found something in the logs, BEFORE I did the disk replacement. This
might have something to do with it.

About 60 messsages like

But none of these filenames match the files I've had trouble with (so far)

Any other ideas from ANYONE ? I'm now in the process of purging my cache to
remove some "fluff" that's filling the directories, in the hope that might
eliminate the problem somewhat, but which was predominantly once-off files
(such as ZIPs and EXEs) which haven't been caught by the cache storage rules
(time to check that also I guess)

        cache_dir disk3 ...
        cache_dir disk4 ...

changing to

        cache_dir disk4 ...
        cache_dir disk6 ...
