Hello fellow Squid users,
I noticed recently a problem with accessing the Intellicast weather pages.
In particular we were visiting http://www.intellicast.com/weather/pdx ...
Initially we were getting the following error:
["Error processing this directive"]
Usually reloading/refreshing the page seemed to clear things up, but the
customers just didn't like having to do that unecessary step.
In taking a look at the code on the intellicast site it see a meta tag
with the "Pragma" and "no-cache" arguments. Assumably this is their
attempt at stopping Squid from caching their pages. I'm not really sure
exactly what this does to Squid (ie: does it really prevent caching?).
Anyway, I seem to have fixed the problem by adding "intellicast" to the
cache_stoplist. Does this sound like the right thing to do? Does anyone
have any experience with such an error, or have any better suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
Sincerely,
Marcus Hecht
