Possibly a quicker alternative: Set a refresh_pattern for your internal
objects (matching assorted hostnames, perhaps) with very short times (a
minute or so), restart squid, let it decide that all of those objects
are stale.

Caveat: Haven't tried it myself. Just guessing off the wall.
