I looked around for this one, and didn't find anything.
I'm running 2.2.stable4 right now, and can't jump to 2.2.stable5 until a
lot of testing gets done on the system.
Here is the problem:
From a client application (IE or Netscape) you start ftp'ing a file, in
this case, say a 6mb RPM file for example. If you cancel the FTP 2mb into
the transfer, and then try it again, it will start the download over, but
will never get past the point at which you stopped (the 2mb point). When
you have the progress dialog on the screen, it just gets to that point and
sits there. It continues to think it's in the process of getting the file,
but never makes it. You can cancel again, and try to download it all over,
but you still won't get past that point. I thought that maybe IE or
Netscape's own caches were the culprit, but I can clear out those caches,
at different times, and still never get it to go through. Very frustrating
problem.
Any help is appreciated.
