Newbie Squid/Newbie Linux - Blocking File Downloads - EXEs & ZIPs

Hi all

I'd like to be able to block the above file types - I'm paranoid about
viruses & trojans etc.

I have a working 2.2STABLE5 on Linux Mandrake 6.1 with the Smartfilter
filtering software in place. I can currently control access to websites of
'dubious' content but haven't worked out how to block downloads based on
specific file extensions.

Any help welcomed.
