Bonjour,
I've expérimented both Squid 2.1p2 and Netscape (old v2.5):
Pro Netscape2.5: easy Graphical User Interface, good reliability.
Con Netscape2.5: need more CPU than Squid, some log are bugged.
There is lots of things to say more, but for me that's big points.
