Well, it is a protocol violation, and there are cases where it will
fail. Please note that it only makes a difference for the forced reload
(Shift-Reload or Control-Reload depending on browser type), not a plain
reload.
You will get into problems if a server supports If-Modified-Since (which
almost all does) and a image gets replaced by one of a older date than
the one you have in your cache.
