Hiya,
I'm running squid-2.3STABLE4 with all patches on PIII box with 2.2.17 during
a week or so. No problems.
Btw, I've made some interesting observations. I have two boxes with squids
on them. One of them has 12GB cache and squid process takes nearly 110MB of
RAM. Another one has 24G cache and squid takes ~210MB. Both caches have
`cache_mem' set to 10MB. So, if someone plans to buy hardware for proxy
server it should keep proportion between disk space and RAM size something
like "1GB of disk uses 10MB of RAM"
Regards!
