[SQU] ==> disabling DNS-Server?? <==

Hi,

is there a way to integrate squid in an exisitng cache hierarchy without using the
dnsserver. The reason why I am asking is because our ISP offers an proxy-server, but
no dns-server.
Studying the squid manuals, I didn't find a way to use squid without the dnsserver.
