/me hides in a hole ;)

I just rollede my own without --enable-async-io, and after a bit of
tweaking it bursted out with 912 kB/sec. Some improvment!

Sure! (insert tmp/ after miquels/).

Kinda nice to change it on the fly. Async = 200kB/sec per client, normal
= ~900 kB/sec. But there is a little problem with the package:
<SNIP>
debian1:/tmp# /etc/init.d/squid restart
Restarting proxy server:
2000/11/06 22:13:39| parseConfigFile: line 621 unrecognized:
'dns_children 5'
2000/11/06 22:13:39| parseConfigFile: line 640 unrecognized:
'dns_defnames on'
squid.
debian1:/tmp#
</SNIP>

Sure will, but it seems that async-io is "bad". But I guess that on a
very busy cache on a slow Inet link it's better because of the lower
load on the machine? I'll test the new .deb on the PII machine soon and
check if I can get more than ~500 kB/sec from it. I'll let you know the
results in priv mail, okay?
