hello friends

so can i run squid in none transparent mode, to get advantages of caching ,
and also do ip masquarading to access other application like msn/yahoo
messangers and other real audio/video stuff , so my
clients on private network using private ip address will get the real
ip for these msn/yahoo messanger service and also for real/audio video
services ,

am i correct ? what else is required ? any kernel level modules ?
