Hi,
I have a second line I'd like to use. I want to set up a second proxy
server (running on the same machine as the first proxy), called (eg),
proxy2, with a different gateway so that I can push some users down one
cable, the others down another cable.
The primary cache has an upstream cache, and I want both of the proxies
to share the same upstream cache.
The 2 caches would be different sizes. I'm using squid2.2stable5 in
Slackware Linux with Kernel 2.2.17. System also runs sendmail, apache,
nntpcache, has 384mb RAM, and is a PIII/733.
Can this be done? If so, how? Are there some docs on the subject?
What are the pitfalls?
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
TIA
Phill
