Hi Diego,
I don't think squid is designed to do the kind of filtering you want.. not
for more than just a few sites anyway... That's why it has the redirector
plug-in facility.
You'll find it a lot easier downloading (e.g.) squidguard from
http://www.squidguard.org
and configuring squid to call that with every url. it will do the filtering
and allow access or return an access-denied page based on rules that you
set. Also the site has a bot which generates blacklists of known risky sites
in a downloadable format.
There are others detailed on the squid-cache site, but I've only used this
one.
Regards
Phil DG

Subject: help with squid configuration
Hi, i'm writng you from Peru for asking you some help with my squid
configuration, i hope you can help me..
my problem is:
i have a proxy Linux Red Hat 6.2 with some restricted sites, for example a
list of
pornografic sites..like this
acl porno src '/home/user/porno'
http_access deny porno
but what line and where do i have to put that line in my squid.conf for
allowing a user with the ip 172.10.11.8/255.255.255.192 access to that
sites?
my proxy has a public ip: 200.170.60.2/255.255.255.224
my proxy works fine when i try to access from the ip 172.10.11.8 to
that porno sites, i.e. i am restricted but when if i want to allow
that, i am still restricted, so, i hope you can help me with this
problem...exactly i want to know what line i have to put in my
squid.conf for allow to one specific user access to a denied site
before, in the squid.conf.
Thanks.
