The above cannot work. smb_auth is a basic authentication helper, not a
ntlm authentication helper.

> acl local src 192.168.100.0/255.255.255.0
> acl local proxy_auth REQUIRED

and this can't work either.. a single acl name can only be of a single
type. In this configuration the second definition of "local" will be
ignored, effectively making your configuration NOT use authentication.
