Hi all,
I am encountering a rather awful problem with
squid-2.5STABLE1.
I discovered it's exiting and restarting (quite
annoying during a store rebuild) on a very regular
basis. After reading other posts, i started to enable
debugging and sure enough it died with a "Floating
Point Exception". The fix for this was to edit
src/neighbors.c line 275 and change "60" to "60.0".
Alas this fix was for a 2.4 version of Squid and 2.5
already has this change (on about line 279 iirc).
After looking closer at the code, its in the section
that rehashes the ROUND_ROBIN database every 5 minutes
- and sure enough, when i watched a little closer it
does indeed quit and restart every 5 minutes to the
second.
I also do have three ROUND_ROBIN neighbors configured
- so this should pinpoint the problem for those of you
who are more able to code things than i am.
