Then there is a problem with your NTLM AUTH setup.

Show us the output of wbinfo -t and wbinfo -a user%password, where user and
password are a valid username and password (you can munge the password in
the post if you want; it doesn't matter).

Does the Squid user have write access to the privileged winbind pipe?
