If I wanted an antivirus/antispam project, I would put the filter
BEFORE the squid, so squid would just see and cache its results.
Spam pages would be replaced by small/short notification "this is spam" or
probably by a redirect to such notification. This notification/redirect
could be cached to prevent spam-checking the same page again
