This is really starting to bother me. I have been running the same
version of Squid since December. No problems with any of my apples
updating. The problems started just a few weeks ago. I called apple
tech support, the tech said "if os 10.3 works than 10.4 should". He
elevated me to the next level of support. That was 2 weeks ago. No
calls back. I get the feeling that apple changed something on their
end that has caused this not to work with Squid. Im going to look at
my firewall and see if I can do something to let apple.com traffic to
go straight through and not get redirected to my proxy server. Yes, I
too can take squid out of loop, run updates then software updates
works, for a couple of days. Sometimes their are updates to download
also. Is there any other testing we could do?
