Hi,
I'm having a server with cache_mem configured to 512MB, and 2 X 25GB of cache. The total memory is 2GB. This server is to cater for 500 users later on. However, my concern now is, with only 20 users using the system, I can see that the memory utilisation has been increasing day by day.(Pls see the table below) Can anybody help me with this problem, because if I cannot find the way to fine tune, then it will be a disaster if I put 500 users??? Or is it a normal situation for squid ? When will it stop to decrease? And for info, I have not startup any other services i.e Apache & cache manager yet to minimise the memory utilisation.
