Updated to version 0.2. The new URL is:
ftp://ftp.nlc.net.au/pub/linux/www/transproxy-0.2.tgz
This version has a few bug fixes and simplifications, and 1 big new feature.
The big new feature is that I can pass connections with no reverse DNS
lookups about 90% of the time. I also now get the real site name the user
requested rather than some strange name the reverse DNS provides.
How is this done, by parsing the HTTP headers looking for a Host: header
that Netscape an Internet Explorer are nice enough to provide. The parsing
code is not 100% yet, when it is I expect the 90% chance to become 100%.
Cheers.
