Retry Patch

I was wondering where I can get the retry patch for newer versions of Squid
1.1. I'm always going to a web site which squid says doesn't work one
second, but I hit reload and it comes right up, so I'd like to have it be
able to retry say, 3 times before giving up.

I know the patch existed for older versions of squid, but I haven't seen one
for the newer 1.1 series.
